How long have you been podcasting? can you tell us a little bit about your podcast and why you got started?
Coop's Corner started six years ago as a sports review show on BlogTalkRadio. It was more directed towards the NFL & Fantasy predictions. It then made a quick appearance on Spreaker, then took a year off to redesign what the show. In July, 2014, it made it's Podomatic debut at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal & has continued to grow from there.

Where do you draw inspiration for your podcast?

I'm a huge stoner, that's pretty inspirational.

What’s your recording set-up look like? Is there a special mic, piece of equipment or software that you can’t do without? Any recommendations?

I'm very loud, so I'm forced to record my podcast in my shed. I'm lucky enough I use my MacBook Pro for editing purposes. Extremely helpful.

What’s been your greatest challenge with podcasting?

Being able to afford running one.

How have you seen your podcast grow?
We've stayed connected with our most loyal viewers. We don't treat them like random people, they are our family.

When you’re not podcasting, what do you like to do for fun?
I'm a comedian, so I travel & perform stand-up wherever people want me to go.
In what ways has Podomatic helped you as a podcaster?

Podomatic is extremely loyal to their podcast hosts & listeners. They take the time to learn about their audience & ways they can always improve their platform. They treat podcasters like family.

What kind of podcasts do you listen to? Any favorites?
I follow mostly the comedy industry, but another passion of mine is professional wrestling. Give the "Last Real Heels" Podcast a listen. Great guys that are fellow Podomatic users.

Where do you see the podcast industry 10 years from now?
I believe more podcasts will be more interactive. Social media has helped in the industry, so I'm excited what other platforms will be created for listeners to directly interact with podcasters.

When you’re not podcasting, what do you like to do for fun?
I'm a comedian, so I travel & perform stand-up wherever people want me to go.

Any advice or tips for someone just getting their podcast off the ground?
Collaboration is always a great way to get you noticed, but make sure you leave a good impression.

What would I find in your refrigerator right now?

Beer.
